We have a lot to offer you………

A Modern Spacious Clubhouse

  • A large Wardroom and Lounge with panoramic views over the Marina and Waikawa Bay
  • Full Bar facilities, when open for meals or during Club or Sporting functions
  • Restaurant facilities - meals are available every Friday, some Sunday evenings & Tuesday after yacht races.
  • Shower, toilet and laundry facilities are available 24 hours.
  • Available for Hire for Weddings, Parties, Conferences etc, at a discounted price for Members.
  • The Club Manager is available on (03) 573 6798. If no reply, leave a message and you will be contacted

 

Secure Moorings

  • The Club has many secure moorings scattered throughout Queen Charlotte Sound and Pelorus Sound for the use of Club Members. These moorings are jointly shared with the Mana and Pelorus Boating Clubs to spread the cost of maintenance and to give a more extensive range for your enjoyment.

 

Yacht Racing

  • The Yacht Racing Programme runs through the full year and caters for all levels of ability. We run a regular weekly series from Spring through Autumn, Regattas, Offshore Races, Novelty Races and even a Winter Series
  • There is always something happening!

 

Cruising

  • The Cruising Division runs a series of popular 1, 2 and 3 day Events, visiting a great variety of places.
  • These are very sociable occasions open to any kind of vessel and much enjoyed by all.

 

Marina Berths

  • The Club has two Marina Berths in front of the Clubhouse for the use of Members and Visitors to the Club.
  • There is a charge of $15 per night. It is a good idea to check availability before you come in, or book in advance by calling the Office, 03 573 6798 or email, waikawabc@xtra.co.nz

 

General

  • The Club has an active Executive, who work hard to ensure the smooth running of the Club.
  • The Waikawa Boating Club is affiliated to Yachting New Zealand and as such, is under the umbrella of the National Association, which lobbies the Government hard, to help all recreational boaties.
  • The Club publishes regular Newsletters throughout the year to keep you up to date with what is happening around the Club, and other items of interest.
