Just a reminder on this subject. We have had several complaints from members, about not being made feel welcome on club moorings, or told they can't raft up. The Handbook clearly states the rules. Please refresh your memory by reading them! If there are continuing problems with this, please take the name of the boat and let us know
.

Please let the Club know if you find any problems with the Club moorings.

MOORINGS UPDATE / INFO

Governors Bay - reinstated and operational

Burneys Beach - installed & operational, (no more than 2 boats on the mooring & no noise!)

Ruakaka
- installed and operational

Bakers Bay
- the 2 Resolution Bay moorings have been inspected

Whareata Bay
- WBC has purchased a new mooring on the east side of D'Urville Island, just north of Catherine Cove. A great site for an overnight, before passaging French Pass. Lat. & Long: 40.48.784S & 173.56.040E. The buoy may not have been changed yet, but feel free to use the mooring. Members of Pelorus & Mana clubs also have use of the mooring.

Mooring Etiquette - please refresh yourselves with the mooring etiquette, (in the Handbook & on the website), to ensure amicable sharing of moorings

Membership - remember, it is the Senior Member, not the boat, who has the right to use the moorings. Multiple boat owners all need to be financial senior members.

Policing of Moorings - mooring checks will be carried out over the holiday period. Please ensure you are flying your club burgee and have your GREEN membership stickers on your boat. Should there be any issues regarding non members on club moorings, take details, ie, date, time, mooring name, boat name and let us know. (Leave a message on the answer phone)

We do follow up!!

The Cruising Division runs a series of popular one, two and three day events
visiting a great variety of places.

These are very sociable occasions open to any kind of vessel
and much enjoyed by all.

NOTE: As weather may dictate a change of venue for CRUISING events, please phone the Organiser
or a message will be left on the Club answerphone, 573 6798
